I added color to a memorial plaque that hangs by where Giddy and Gwenie are buried.
Another bearded iris garden plaque. I'm almost to the point of having enough of these to sell. I was going to post them On Etsy but now I don't know if I will. I ran into a couple people that said they have encountered people On Etsy that lie and say that their item arrived damage. So that you have to replace it. The lead time on creating these plaques is very long. First I have to create them, then a long slow drying time so they do not crack or explode, sanding then firing. Then painting and glazing. If I encountered people lying and asking for a replacement I would totally lose any chance for a profit. I am wondering your thoughts or ideas. Please email me.

ReplyDeleteAs for shipping breakables, I just wouldn't do it. I sell my unframed work, and fiber sculptures and books online, but I will not send my paper gardens under a glass cloche. It isn't worth the risk.
